After previously sanding the main tube for the "GJD" with 60-grit
sandpaper using my random orbital sander, I replaced it with a
220-grit disk and sanded over the entire surface. The results can be
seen in the photo above. Using the sander surely got the job done
quickly and beautifully. Quite a difference from the 60-grit. Now all
that remains is to hand buff the sanded finish with the green
Scotch-Brite pad.
