Fully cured, the primer was very lightly buffed to remove any surface
irregularities. I was very careful not to remove too much of the
primer. I removed just enough to render an even textured surface.
Afterwards, I wiped away the residue with a damp terry cloth towel
rinsed often, and allowed the main tube to dry thoroughly be moving on
to paining.
Priming is now complete for the main tube! But,
before I apply the Rustoleum Sail Blue (a.k.a. Vega Blue) paint, I
will prime the dew shield.
