Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Main Tube (lightly buffing off primed surface)

Primed Main Tube light buff sanded with 600-grit - 5 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Fully cured, the primer was very lightly buffed to remove any surface irregularities. I was very careful not to remove too much of the primer. I removed just enough to render an even textured surface. Afterwards, I wiped away the residue with a damp terry cloth towel rinsed often, and allowed the main tube to dry thoroughly be moving on to paining.

Priming is now complete for the main tube! But, before I apply the Rustoleum Sail Blue (a.k.a. Vega Blue) paint, I will prime the dew shield.
