Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Main Tube (removal of residue after buffing - 1)

Main Tube being wiped of residue with moist paper towel after buff sanding with 600 grit between light coats of paint - 3 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

To remove the paint residue after the buffing with the Scotch-Brite pad is complete, I used standard paper towels moistened with water. The towels should be wet enough to remove the residue, and not dripping wet. Try to wipe off as much particulate matter as possible before wiping with a damp paper towel.

NOTE --- Absolutely no solvents should be used to remove the dust, because you could potentially ruin the finish.
