Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Main Tube (removal of residue after buffing - 2)

Main Tube being dried off with slightly damp paper towel - 4 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Once I completed wiping down the main tube with the water moistened paper towels, I switched over to slightly damp towels to remove the access moisture and any remaining paint residue. You can now see just how dull the surface really is after buffing. Nevertheless, this dull finish will aid in a couple of ways: 1 - It will aid in helping the last finishing coats of Rustoleum spray paint adhere better, and 2 - The finish will look as if it was professionally applied. Looking smooth and even textured over the entire main tube.
