This photo provides a look at the right mounted OTA handle, and the
mounting hardware for the left handle, as seen from the right side of
the main tube. I did run into one issue where I did not have a bolt
long enough (lower bolt for left handle) to allow for the use of a nut
to help spread the stresses once it was tightened down. Nevertheless,
the bolt snug up well without stressing the main tube significantly.
The OTA handles look awesome, and will offer a fine means of
maneuvering the "Gelinda J, Dawson" refractor toward those glorious
heavenly bodies. |
