Now that we have established the precision perpendicular shallow cut around the circumference of the main tube, we removed the card stock. Etched at the proper length, we can now move forward with cutting all the way through tube wall. In addition, the shallow cut groove into the main tube will help to keep the hacksaw blade from going offtrack.
