Prepping Focuser Backplate and Collimation Ring for painting -1 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

 
In this image, the two components that make up the Focuser Backplate assembly are displayed in preparation to finish. These parts were fabricated by Eric Moerman of Belgium from designs I provided. In the foreground is the Focuser Support/ Collimation Ring and in the background behind the roll of shop towels, we have the Focuser Backplate. Once the two parts are finished and installed, they will allow for the focuser to be support tremendous well and provide collimation.
