The focuser support/ collimation ring has now been primed. Like the focuser backplate itself, the holes in the ring were also masked off to prevent primer and paint from clogging them. In the case of these lateral holes though, they are not threaded. They will allow the passage of bolts to securely fasten the GSO Crayford focuser to it. There are also the push-pull collimation holes, too. But they are already covered with tape on the top surface.
