Beautifully finished with the tape removed is the focuser backplate as
it will be seen from the rear outside surface end of the OTA. You can
also see the three threaded mounting holes inside the recess for where
the focuser support/ collimation ring will be attached for holding the
focuser and rendering alignment adjustability. I will continue to let
this piece cure for several months to let it outgas and allow the
paint to become rock hard.
