To secure the 6" f/10 objective in the front lens cell, here is a front picture of the completely finished retaining ring flocked and ready to lock down those precious disks of glass. I still can not get over how well Eric machined this thing! What is also cool about this retaining ring is that Eric cut three (3) notches in the leading edge for screwing it down instead of the commonly used two (2). A truly nice feature.
