Flipping over the rear cell we see its front end, which shows the edge
that I will be attaching the objective's adjustable front lens cell
to. Though to some, it may not have been necessary, I went ahead and
flocked the top edge and inside diameter area of the rear cell's front
surfaces. Just an added anal action on my part.
As I am sure
many of you already know, the unfinished aluminum surfaces will be
accepting the dew shield (top outside unfinished section) and the main
tube (bottom inside unfinished section).
This concludes the
finishing process of the objective cell and focuser backplate
assemblies for the Jaegers 6" f/10 "Gelinda J. Dawson" refractor. On
the next page, let us check out all of these finished parts laid out
together.
