Eight holes drilled to attach the faceplates to the three legs for the NS II field tripod... (Click for enlarged view)

 
After marking the location of the holes for the faceplates by using them as a template, I drilled out the eight holes to mount the faceplates using a 5/16" bit. Two sets of opposing faceplates will be instituted per main leg assembly; there being three main leg assemblies. Four stainless steel bolts with washers and crown nuts will hold the faceplates securely.
