With the legs for the most part completed, we began cutting out the bottom of the accessory tray for the North Star II field tripod. I used 5/8' grade "A" Douglas Fir plywood, which is inexpensive but has a nice surface that can be sanded and made to look rather well once varnished. The size of the tray is approximately 16" inches per side. Now lets add the rails.
