Here we have a bottom view of the Right Ascension Braking System with the Teflon pads removed. Note that the pads are comprised of three pieces of 7/16" virgin Teflon with a 2" circular opening cut in each to accommodate the cylindrical shape of the 2" Aluminum RA Axis.
