Cradle Assembled - Perspective View of Bottom Section of the Cradle

The assembled bottom section of the cradle. The deep tube pockets accurately follows the tubes circumference to provide minimal tube flexure, distortion or collapsing. Felt will line the edges of the pockets to reduce the chance of scratching the tube's finish. The side panels are quite large in surface area to prevent warping and to support the weight of the OTA and any other accessories. The cradle will be attached to the fork mount tines via these panels.
