The initial process to flock the dew shield starts with the application of the Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating. I sprayed on two (2) coats, allowing for about a half hour before applying the second coat.

In the picture above, the coating appears flat black to the camera, but actually it does have a satin sheen to it (as will be seen on the next page) that has to go.
