Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Flocked Objective Cell and Focuser Backplate (front)

Flocked Objective Cell and Focuser Backplated components - Some parts will be paint - 7 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

In this image, with all of the painters tape removed, (from left to right) we have revealed the focuser facing side of the focuser support/ collimation ring, the inside facing side of the focuser backplate, the forward facing side of the objective's rear cell, the front edge of the objective retaining ring and the front side of the objective's front lens cell.

With the tape removed on the focuser backplate, focuser support collimation ring and rear cell, I will be painting their external surfaces with Rustoleum Hammed Finished paint, as you will see later. No finish will be applied to the threads, as I am sure you are aware. Now let us see what the back side of the components look like after removal of the painters tape.
