Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Knife-Edge Baffles (router and jig - hard at work)

A look at the build-up of polycarbonate debris buildup around the v-groove router bit - 26 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Before we go on to the refinement and finishing process of the four (4) knife-edge baffles for the "GJD" refractor, I wanted to share this image showing underside of the Bosch laminate trimmer/ router and Jasper circle guide to let you see what it looks like after milling the groove in one of the baffles. So, as I made note of on one the previous pages at the start of the milling process of the knife-edge baffles, periodically you will need to pause to removed the fused debris around the v-groove bit. Be very careful! This debris can get a bit hot to the touch, so be sure to let it cool sufficiently before attempting to remove it.

Okay, now lets go pretty up those baffles!
