Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Knife-Edge Baffles (baffle sanding complete - back)

Sanding completed for the baffles (back) - 34 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Though a bit diffused by the matte finish, the view from the back side of the knife-edge baffles shows the beautifully formed bevel and aperture created by the router and Jasper circle jig using the v-groove bit. You might think that the extreme edge of the knife-edge would be easy to mar, chip, or dent, but not so! The inside edges on all four (4) baffles are very durable. Another proven reason for using polycarbonate for fabricating baffles. Once all is said and done, I can attest that the knife-edges milled into these baffles will not allow any incidental reflected stray light to get past them.

With that, the knife-edge baffles are now ready to be drilled for assembly to form the baffle rack.
