This close-up photo of the dew shield, objective cell transition area
and main tube shows how exceptionally well these component fit
together. Looking at the reflection of the flash off of the dew shield
reveals just how great the paint finish turned out. It looks almost
professional indeed.
Next, I will disassemble and allow for the
components to outgas fully before the OTA build can be completed. Let
us now move on to making a set of handles that will be used to aid in
maneuvering the "GJD" refractor. |
