Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - OTA Handles (mark location of "X" OTA handle holes)

Marked one side of Handles Support with an "X" to make certain they were installed evenly spaced - 9 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

As mentioned on the previous page, the pre-drilled marks engraved in the main tube established the location to mount the two (2) oak handle supports. One side was label "X", and the other side "O". Not only will the letters signify the side the handle will go on, but also its orientation to the main tube. Therefore, the hole in the wood handle support that has the "X" closest to it will be matched to the hole with the "X" designation on the main tube. And the hole at the other end of the wood support will be connected to the hole on the same side of the tube that has no designation. And since the holes were established by a paper template (shown later), the proper orientation should guarantee the two (2) handles are evenly spaced.

I apologize for the lengthy explanation. :^(
