Here is a shot showing the cut out aluminum spacer tabs that will be
adhered to the front edge of the flint element for the "GJD"
refractor. I must say, that I made the tabs quite large; reminiscent
to the ones that Unitron used on their objectives. LOL!!! Now, I just
have to carefully peel off the backing of these tiny pieces of duct
tape, one at a time, and attach them to the edge of the flint element
directly in front of the 60-degree radial lines of the template, The
very tip of a toothpick will be used to temporarily hold and position
the spacer tabs as I meticulously apply them to the flint elements
edge. |
