Here is a first time look at the Optica B/C cradle rings as they
arrived from the seller. They only cost me $22.00 dollars, which is a
'drop in the bucket' as compared to what I would have paid for similar
rings from some our other well know astronomical wares purveyors.
These rings are solid cast aluminum, and have seen a lot of use. They
are totally roached! But, I have once again utilized the awesome
abilities of KF4TOH to sandblast and powder coat them black. You will
certainly appreciate the difference in their appearance once they are
done!
