And here is a photo with the azimuth adjustment bolt mounted o the pan-head. Once the EQ mount is installed, having azimuth adjustability will aid tremendously in polar alignment. The translucent disk is made up of two glued and sanded CD's that serve as a washer between the EQ mount head and the pan-head. This reduces marring and damage to the pan-head during installation and aligning of the EQ head. Note that the bolt was mounted inline with one of the legs, which symbolizes north.
