Suspended from chains and a long piece of towel-wrapped PVC tubing, the sanded and flocked tube is ready for its first coat of two-part epoxy. To sand the tube I used a random orbital sander with 220 grit sandpaper, which effectively removed the outer hard wax coating and produced a smooth finish in preparation for the epoxy.
