Guide Scope Restoration - Guide Scope Brackets (Finished)

Side-by-side in the above photo are the mounting brackets for the Tasco 6TE-5 Guide Scope. Originally, they had a black wrinkled finish. The finish was stripped and repainted in high gloss black spray enamel. These finder/ guide scope brackets were designed to attach a 50mm telescope on top of a 76mm refractor. But, in order to attach the units to the main telescope's tube, a special set of adapters had to be created. The adapters can be seen in the next slide.
