Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Main Tube (internal nuts epoxied - complete - 2)

Epoxied nuts for Guide Scope and Sliding Weight Bars in Main Tube - Focuser End - 2 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Looking down the main tube from the focuser end for the Jaegers 6" f/10 "Gelinda J. Dawson" refractor, you can see the epoxied nuts for the Celestron counterweight system (red oval), and the Jaegers 4" f/8.6 refractor guide scope (red circle) dovetail bars.

At this stage, all that is left to do to the main tube is to prime and paint it, but before that can be performed, I will need to address the most critical aspects needing done to the inside of the "GJD"; flocking and baffling. I will get started with flocking the instrument on the next page.
