Before removing the fitted ProtoStar FlockBoard sheet from the main tube, I wanted to see how well the setup looked with  the focuser backplate in place (seen at the other end of the main tube). It turned out just fine.

With the flocking material still in place inside of the main tube, I also will marked the locations of the underlying epoxied nuts, so that I could cut away the material over them to allow the sheet to lie flat against the inside walls of the main tube.
