A closer look at the areas I removed patches of flocking
material from over the epoxied nuts for the guide scope dovetail bar,
as seen from the focuser end of the main tube. Not perfect but
effective.
NOTE: As you can clearly see, the patches I cut out
revealed the reflective surface of the underlying wall of the main
tube. This will be corrected by applying Rustoleum Camouflage flat
black paint to flock the exposed areas around the epoxied nuts when I
remove the flocking material from the main tube prior to installing
the rack mounted baffles. |
