Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Knife-Edge Baffles (initial plunge cut into Lexan)

Initial plunge cut through the polycarbonate and into the sacrificial plywood substrate. - 8 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

After making the depth adjustment to the up-cut spiral bit on the router, I centered the router/ Jasper jig setup on the 1/8" pin selecting the appropriate hole in the jig that would produce a 6.7" disk. Holding the router in place, I performed a plunge cut into the polycarbonate and then verified that the radii would produce the proper size baffle diameter I needed (6.7"). Once all was good, I continued the cut as guided by the jig.
