Jaegers 6" f/10 "GJD" OTA Construction - Main Tube (prepping for a guide scope - 11)

Applied Two-part Epoxy to nuts inside tube for Guide Scope Bar - 11 (Click to see an enlarged image.)

Using tiny cone-shaped tubes of painters tape (not seen here) inserted into the holes in the main tube from the outside to align the four (4) nuts, I applied the mixed two-part epoxy around the cones and then lower the nuts down onto the epoxied surface of the inside main tube. Once aligned and seated properly, I added more epoxy around the sides of the nuts to firmly affix the nuts to the inside walls of the main tube. Fully cured, the nuts will provide an excellent means of attaching the Vixen style dovetail bar to the main tube for the Jaegers 4" f/8.6 refractor guide scope.
