A close-up of the round-over process using a Bosch® laminate trimmer. As you can see, the edge on the right has been nicely rounded over with a 1/4" radius round-over bit, but the left side has not. Smoothing these edges made a big difference in the handling of the tripod safely. Well worth the effort to do.
