The picture above shows
the "adjustable center leg stops" and their accompanying 1/4"
plywood spacers before they are glued and clamped. As mentioned before the
spacers will add additional room to allow the "adjustable center
legs" to slide freely between the "outer main leg supports" of each leg
with ease. As
noted on the previous page, the "adjustable center leg stops" will
allow room for the "adjustable center legs" to be extended and
retracted effectively. Additionally, these components will serve as precisely
what they are called, as "stops", preventing the "adjustable centers
legs" from being retracted beyond them. Nothing technical at all.
