I switch to the 100-grit sand paper after completing the sanding with
the 60. If you compare the difference in the finish texture of the
100-grit results as compared to the 60-grit, it is quite significant.
Sanding with the 100-grit pad, the surfaces looked like swirls of
angel hair Christmas tree ornament decoration used many years ago. As
I think about it, that stuff was dangerous! Basically, it was
fiberglass, but they referred to it as spun glass back then. Boy! Made
you itch like crazy! Now I am truly showing my age!
