Going to the second drill bit, here is a photo of the main tube
displaying the slightly larger 1/8" bit that I used to increase the
hole size from 1/16" for connecting the focuser backplate to the main
tube. The
next bit will be 1/4" in diameter, but unfortunately I did not take a photo of it
after drilling. Nevertheless, I believe everyone will get the message
and understanding of the process.
With this stpe done, let's
get the focuser backplate ready for alignment and test fit onto the
main tube.
