After using the Vixen style dovetail bar as a template to mark the location of the holes on the main tube, I drilled the four (4) holes to which I will be epoxying nuts to the inside wall of the main tube for its attachment. As I did with the other holes made in the main tube, I started with a 1/16" bit and gradually worked my way up to the final hole size of 1/4".
